Darkover 2004
FRIDAY
6:00 PM: Judex (1917) The complete 12-part French silent serial, with a costumed hero fighting evil in several forms.
Midnight: Lord of the G-Strings. In which throbbits go on a quest to prevent an evil figure from gaining access to a magical object. I think you know the general plotline.
SATURDAY
2:00 PM: Into the Woods. A taped performance of the Broadway musical of a number of years ago, where several fairy tales are mixed.
5:00 PM: Harakiri. Tetusya Nakadai in his most extended death scene, at 134 minutes, though he does take several people with him.
7:15 PM: Bullshot. A remake of the 1930s Bullshot Crummond, quite demolishing adventure and spy movies.
8:45 PM: Blithe Spirit (1946) Conflict between the first wife and the second, with the first already buried..
10:30 PM: Mr. Accident (2000) Yahoo Serious in a most bizarre movie, ultimately sf.
Midnight or a little later: Eternal Lust. Immortality through deep contagion.
SUNDAY
10:00 AM: Queen Christina (1935) Greta Garbo in a biographical (sort-of) costume spectacle about a free-wheeling Swede.
11:45: AM: London After Midnight (1927). Not really a movie (no movement) but a reconstruction of the horror classic from the script, music, and surviving stills.
12:45 PM: Vampires Anonymous. A young man finds he has to join a specialized self-help group.
